After the magical ride, enjoy a private gourmet breakfast in an exclusive desert oasis setting and embark on a fascinating wildlife drive in the Dubai Desert Conservation Reserve.
Please note that this booking is on a request basis and availability will be confirmed 24 hours before departure. Kindly note, that this experience is not available during the summer from June 1 until September 15, 2023. The attrction will reopen from September 16, 2023.

Overview
The excitement starts before sunrise – we promise that the early wakeup will be well worth it! Our driver will collect you in a stylish Land Rover Defender to whisk you off to the balloon take-off site in the desert. The journey is approximately a 45-minute leisurely drive from Dubai.
Arrive at the take-off site in the desert to be welcomed by your personal balloon pilot. After a quick safety briefing, the pilot will begin the exciting balloon inflation process. Before you know it, you will be climbing into the balloon basket and waving to the ground crew as your balloon gently starts to float and head up towards the skies.
You will be floating on cloud nine (quite literally) as you glide over the Dubai desert at 4,000ft. Look out for wandering camels and Arabian oryx below, and take in the stunning views of the sunrise over the rolling sand dunes and the Hajar mountains.
One of the best things about this private experience is that the entire experience is your own. This means that you get clear 360-degree panoramic views from the basket and share the intimate experience with your loved ones.
After landing in the desert, your private Land Rover Defender will collect you for the next part of the experience. An adventure like hot air ballooning wouldn’t be complete without a hearty breakfast – besides, you’ll need a bit of quality time to reflect about your amazing ride before heading back to the city.

Know before you go
Pick-up times will vary throughout the year. In order for you to plan your day, please be prepared for a pick-up between the following times:
September - November: 3:30am - 4:30am
December - February: 4:30am - 5:30am
March -May: 3:30am - 4:30am
The operator will contact you within 24h to 48h of the tour date to confirm pick up location and time.
Due to the nature of the activity, the driver will not be able to wait if you are not at the designated meeting point on time.

Some mornings we may experience strong winds or fog. If this happens, we may change the order of your experience to make it more enjoyable. First, we would drive you to our Heritage Camp in Vintage Land Rovers where you will be served a gourmet breakfast You can relax there and your hot air balloon experience will begin after the fog has lifted. When this happens, the sun would already be up, but the views are just as beautiful.
Children under the age of five will not be accepted on the hot air balloon flight. Our tour is not recommended for guests that have had major surgery in the last six months, anyone that has suffered a broken leg or arm in the last six months, anyone who suffers from chronic neck or back pain, or injuries. Hot Air Ballooning is not recommended for pregnant guests and they will only be permitted to fly within the first trimester.
Please note that the tour is dependent on weather conditions and therefore may be cancelled by the Supplier at any time. In the event of cancellation by the Supplier due to weather conditions, please be advised that we will do our best to reschedule the visit or provide a full refund for the tour/ticket.

Cancellation policy
For a full refund, cancel at least 72 hours in advance of your booked time slot. No-shows and late cancellations are non-refundable.
